As part of the Serbia Creative Clash project supported by the Development Agency of Serbia, we would like to invite artists to join the Second Artistic Intervention that will take place in Vojvodina.
We are looking for the artistic knowledge and skills that will help organizations, institutions, and companies to overcome identified problems or challenges. This method is known as an artistic intervention in organizations (AIO), and it has been successfully implemented in countries such as France, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, and the UK. Kulturanova representatives have already acquired relevant knowledge on this method in previous projects, and have also completed the training provided by TILLT, an organization from Sweden. The method was developed by TILLT, which has been successfully employing it for years. AIO is one of the most efficient processes of stimulating innovative thinking and experimenting in organizations.
Why artists?
Artists create a space for a new means of thought and action and approach challenges from a different perspective. This can be crucial for organizations whose business is clearly defined, and which are unable to deal with changes and innovations due to lack time. AIO truly stimulates innovative thinking, instigate change, whereby ensuring positive results in the organization empowerment. This process finally results in emotions, which prompt us to act. The methodology used in AIO truly stimulates innovative thinking and a change of perspective whereby ensuring positive results in organization empowerment.
Who can apply?
The project is open to all artists who under 30 and come from all artistic backgrounds in Vojvodina. It is also open to organizations that could benefit from the creative help of artists. Twelve artists and twelve organizations will be selected that will be engaged in artistic interventions from September to November 2017. The artists will complete three-day training after which they will be engaged in interventions and provided with constant mentoring support from the artists who have completed the TILLT training. Experience in working with organizations will also help artists gain an insider’s perspective on business and challenges of entrepreneurship in Serbia, establish first invaluable contacts, and receive references for further work.
