AIO

Upon the conclusion of the WBCC – Western Balkan Creative Clash project, Kulturanova Association is holding the closing conference during which the results and insights from the project will be presented.

The conference will take place at the Cultural Center LAB, 2 Dr. Hempta Street, in Novi Sad, from December 21-23.
In the last two years, Kulturanova Association carried out a project with the aim to build partnerships between artists and organizations in Serbia. The Western Balkans Creative Clash/WBCC project was carried out in collaboration with partner organizations LDA Struga from Macedonia, Urban Nova from Montenegro, and TILT from Sweden. The project focused on the artists who applied their knowledge and skills in non-artistic environments. We refer to this activity as an artistic intervention in organizations (AIO).
What is AIO?
AIO is a project launched by Kulturanova with the aim of contributing to the empowerment of businesses in Serbian. The Association was founded 15 years ago, and it has always been a driver of innovative solutions in culture. We would like to transfer these solutions to the environment of organizations and contribute to the empowerment of entrepreneurs and organizations with the help of artists.
Why artists?
Artists are trained to create new ideas that transcend routines and thus build a space for a new way of thinking and acting. This process finally results in emotions, which prompt us to act. The methodology used in AIO truly stimulates innovative thinking and a change of perspective whereby ensuring positive results in organization empowerment.
How does the AIO project contribute to sustainable culture and society in general?
The development of culture and creative solutions can significantly improve the development of economy and society if the collaboration between business and art is set up strategically. It is evident that the world economy has had a significant influence on societies urging them to change. For a long time now, organizations have been investing in creative innovations, competencies, emotional development and cooperation, as well as the wellbeing and development of skills of qualified workforce, in order to be successful and reach their users.
Are these the right reasons for you to join us? We promise you a year of creativity and innovation at your workplace.

The Western Balkans Creative Clash/WBCC Project is financed by the Balkans Art & Culture Fund, which is supported by the government of Switzerland and the European Cultural Foundation.
