"In front of you is a collection of poems by the seriously-unserious Novi Sad punk-rock-hard core troubadour who warns us that every newborn will be born in the world of the dead. Unlike the strict Apollonian line of the Novi Sad alternative scene and its protagonists, he has chosen the path of Dionysian clutter, games, gags, celebration of life, abolishing the border between low and high culture, everyday and sublime, seriousness and frivolity, children's literature and adult literature. Reading the book of Matić's poems, you will be surprised by the number of verses and jokes that the creative and dear frontman of our favorite band has recorded for years. It's all there somewhere but hidden from us. And the poet was there somewhere but hidden from us. Verse through verse, we are discovering that we are different as readers and that Slavko Matić is different as a poet", says the editor Siniša Tucić.
