Association Kulturanova begins work on a new project called Tracks of History: From Balkan to Austria, which is financed through the Erasmus+ program of the European Commission.

Objectives:

The theme of the project is the history of migrations. We want to collect, preserve, process and make culturally accessible the stories of first-generation migrants. At the same time, we want to contribute to the preservation of migration stories as part of cultural heritage. The social inclusion of migrant communities is to be promoted in this way.

Implementation:

A transnational meeting in Serbia, jointly coordinated activities on biography work with older people (carried out by young adults), collection of video-based interviews; processing and presentation of the contents in written and audiovisual form; transnational meeting in Austria to present the project results.

Results: video-based interviews on migration and regional contemporary history; workshops on biography work; a collection of materials on Austrian--Serbian contemporary history; creative approaches to the topic designed by learners and made available via the associations' websites and social media; brochure on the topic

Kulturanova will organize a workshop for young adults on biography work and collect Oral History stories on migration to Austria (also re-migration). They will be presented online (Youtube) and in a brochure.

Project partners: Xenia. Verein zur Förderung der Vielfalt (Bludenz, Austria)
