"Under the same roof" is a play and an adaptation of the book of the same name, which is the diary of a German and a Syrian. The German - Henning, received the Syrian - Amir in his house and he became part of their family, and Henning and Nicole became his German mom and dad. From the moment Amir steps into their house, to the moment he leaves it after 6 months, to go to university, they try every time to coexist with their prejudices towards each other: cultural, religious, ideological, and even differences in perceptions of fashion, clothing, and food.
The play "Pod istim krovom" ("Under the same roof") was co-produced by Kulturanova and the Novi Sad Theater as part of the Port of Dreamers project in partnership with the Dubrovnik Summer Festival and the Slovenian National Theater Maribor.

The play was directed by Ivana Janošev, and the adaptation was done by Aleksandra Mrđen and Ivana Janošev. The scenography was done by Višnja Žugić and Atila Antal, and the music was composed and played by Jovan Živanović.
The Port of Dreamers project deals with the history of migration on the European continent, the experience of migrants, the positive impact of migration on the development of certain cultural, social and economic environments, and the relationship between the terms "European citizen" and "migrant".
