As part of the Invisible Lives project, a call was opened for an art residency in Latvia, intended for photographers from Serbia, Montenegro and Latvia.

The residence will take place from July 20 to 30, 2021.

Photographers from Latvia, Montenegro and Serbia (five from each country) will work together with members of the visually impaired community in Cesis, Latvia. The aim of the project is to document the life of that community through the creation of photographs and soundscapes for the exhibition.

We are looking forward to the applications of experienced photographers and future analog photography professionals from Latvia, Montenegro and Serbia interested in participating in the project.
The selection committee is composed of representatives of the project partners, and participants will be selected based on their previous experience, motivation and artistic competencies.

The project will cover the travel of participants from their home country to Latvia, accommodation and food costs. Each artist will receive a grant of €500 upon completion of their exhibition project.
