As part of the project "Many perspectives, many experiences: Oral histories", we held workshops on the method of documenting life stories and memories - ORAL HISTORIES METHOD.

Through the video interviews, we will come to 10 stories - memories of people who are in some way connected with life in Kosovo.
After the participants do the interviews, the playwright will prepare a text for public reading based on these stories as part of future project activities.

The project is organizing a development workshop (Art Lab) in Novi Sad in February, where, with the support of directors and actors, the playwright will further develop his/her text, and the playwright is expected to participate in them, collaborate with the actor team, to be ready to potentially change the text if necessary. We want you to be part of the process and this important story with us.

After that development workshop, the playwright will have another month to further develop the text, which will then be at conferences planned in late April / early May. Immediately before these conferences, there will be another meeting with the director and the cast, in order to select parts of the text that will be presented at the public reading, during these conferences.

Applications have two rounds:
- in the first round the call is open to everyone
- in the second round, five selected playwrights will receive transcripts of interviews and research on the attitudes and perceptions of young people in Serbia on interethnic relations by the Center for Democratic Development "Europolis", which you can also use in writing texts.

The overall goal of the project is to contribute to the democratic resolution of conflicts and the process of reconciliation by encouraging dialogue between the youth of Serbia and Kosovo.
The specific goal of the project is to promote the role of young people in reducing socio-ethnic distances between ethnic communities in Serbia and Kosovo and increase the level of mutual understanding through their personal stories.

The deadline for applications is December 15 at 11:59 p.m.
